Hey guys!  Hope everyone had a great weekend!  We had my husbands nephew visiting from Michigan over the weekend and it was so nice to have family in town.  Ashton loves having someone to play with, he actually thinks we are all his playmates! However, Korey was so sweet with him, he played with him, drove him around in his little car ( he LOVES that) and was very sweet to him.  How was your weekend? 

I have to mention that this scarf is everything!  I had been dying to wear it since I bought it, but the weather had been to warm to do so, however, this weekend I wore it out and got so many complements. It's very soft and cozy and I love the blush color theme it has going on.  It was also only $28 and it's one I will be wearing all winter long!

Happy Monday!! Feliz Lunes!! A Romance with Lace

Happy Monday!! Feliz Lunes!! How was everyone's weekend??  We had a great family weekend and Valentine's Day.  I love spending time with my two loves, they just make my heart smile.  This post was inspired by Valentine's Day because I have always found lace to be a very feminine and romantic.  Personally, I'm very drawn to tops and dresses that have lace in them or are made from it, so when I spotted this top I loved it and the bonus part was it's also cropped!  However, I do have to say, I normally wear a small but in this case I ordered a medium so that it would fit me a little longer and not so cropped.  Since the temperatures have been pretty chilly around here, instead of a skirt I paired it with these bell bottom pants to stay warm.  In the end I loved the classy style the top gave the outfit! Hey guys!  Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  I'm all about a cute, basic, little black dress....because as we all know you can never go wrong with black.  I know that summer time is all about the white dress and the lighter hues, but I love to have a basic go to black dress that can work in case I'm out of options. I love how this dress, which also comes in two other colors, is fit on the top and then it flares out at the bottom giving it a fun and relaxed style.  I also love the eyelet pattern on it because it's a more casual look and great to pair with wedges, flats, or a bomber jacket, like I did here.
