Hey everyone!  Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  I have to share with you that my mom came in town and I'm so excited!  I haven't seen her since April, when I last visited Peru and it really is a huge help to have her around, specially now that Ashton is getting mobile and getting into everything!!  Ashton of course is loving all the attention he is getting from grandma!  He is definitely the center of our world and he knows it!!

You guys, this dress is everything!!  I wore it to lunch on Friday and I got sooooo many complements!!  The combination of colors are beautiful and the ruffled hemline is very feminine.  It's the perfect summer dress, very lightweight and breezy.  It's definitely my favorite dress right now!

Happy Monday!! Feliz Lunes!! A Romance with Lace

Happy Monday!! Feliz Lunes!! How was everyone's weekend??  We had a great family weekend and Valentine's Day.  I love spending time with my two loves, they just make my heart smile.  This post was inspired by Valentine's Day because I have always found lace to be a very feminine and romantic.  Personally, I'm very drawn to tops and dresses that have lace in them or are made from it, so when I spotted this top I loved it and the bonus part was it's also cropped!  However, I do have to say, I normally wear a small but in this case I ordered a medium so that it would fit me a little longer and not so cropped.  Since the temperatures have been pretty chilly around here, instead of a skirt I paired it with these bell bottom pants to stay warm.  In the end I loved the classy style the top gave the outfit! Hey guys!  Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  I'm all about a cute, basic, little black dress....because as we all know you can never go wrong with black.  I know that summer time is all about the white dress and the lighter hues, but I love to have a basic go to black dress that can work in case I'm out of options. I love how this dress, which also comes in two other colors, is fit on the top and then it flares out at the bottom giving it a fun and relaxed style.  I also love the eyelet pattern on it because it's a more casual look and great to pair with wedges, flats, or a bomber jacket, like I did here.
