Happy Thursday! Feliz Jueves!

 

Just a quick hello today!  When I started this blog,  I wanted to try and keep it about fashion and all those things that are trending and fun at the moment. However, it has actually become more of a window for me. Through this blog, I'm able to share with you my daily happenings and introduce you to my personal space and some of those people that make my world a much better place. Among those people, there is a dear friend, sister and partner in crime that I have known now for almost 13 years. I would like to dedicate this post today to her, to her incredible creativity, her loving heart, her positive outlook in life regardless of the situation and for the endless support and love she has for those around her.

  
These pictures represent some of her work, the incredible talent she has when she grabs a camera. Everytime I visit her, we play dress up and go out for a photo shoot.......girls having fun. :)

A Romance with Lace

Happy Monday!! Feliz Lunes!! How was everyone's weekend??  We had a great family weekend and Valentine's Day.  I love spending time with my two loves, they just make my heart smile.  This post was inspired by Valentine's Day because I have always found lace to be a very feminine and romantic.  Personally, I'm very drawn to tops and dresses that have lace in them or are made from it, so when I spotted this top I loved it and the bonus part was it's also cropped!  However, I do have to say, I normally wear a small but in this case I ordered a medium so that it would fit me a little longer and not so cropped.  Since the temperatures have been pretty chilly around here, instead of a skirt I paired it with these bell bottom pants to stay warm.  In the end I loved the classy style the top gave the outfit! A Summer Basic :: Plus 5 Bomber Jackets I'm Currently Loving

Happy Monday! Feliz Lunes!! Hey guys!  Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  I'm all about a cute, basic, little black dress....because as we all know you can never go wrong with black.  I know that summer time is all about the white dress and the lighter hues, but I love to have a basic go to black dress that can work in case I'm out of options. I love how this dress, which also comes in two other colors, is fit on the top and then it flares out at the bottom giving it a fun and relaxed style.  I also love the eyelet pattern on it because it's a more casual look and great to pair with wedges, flats, or a bomber jacket, like I did here.
