Hey guys!  We have been so sick around here, as Ashton got a stomach virus that trickled down to Todd and I and made all of us pretty much feel miserable.  It wasn't until half way through the weekend that we started to turn the corner and were able to enjoy some of this beautiful weather we've been having.  It feels like May in February and we are not complaining!
I wore this dress to brunch with my family on Sunday and received so many complements!  The print is beautiful and the pleats add that extra feminine touch to a very classy dress.  Another thing I love about this dress is that it can be used for any occasion, meaning it can be dressed down with wedges and a jean jacket or heels and some chandelier earrings for a  special occassion.  Whatever your style is, it will definately turn some heads!

Happy Monday!! Feliz Lunes!! A Romance with Lace

Happy Monday!! Feliz Lunes!! How was everyone's weekend??  We had a great family weekend and Valentine's Day.  I love spending time with my two loves, they just make my heart smile.  This post was inspired by Valentine's Day because I have always found lace to be a very feminine and romantic.  Personally, I'm very drawn to tops and dresses that have lace in them or are made from it, so when I spotted this top I loved it and the bonus part was it's also cropped!  However, I do have to say, I normally wear a small but in this case I ordered a medium so that it would fit me a little longer and not so cropped.  Since the temperatures have been pretty chilly around here, instead of a skirt I paired it with these bell bottom pants to stay warm.  In the end I loved the classy style the top gave the outfit! Hey guys!  Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  I'm all about a cute, basic, little black dress....because as we all know you can never go wrong with black.  I know that summer time is all about the white dress and the lighter hues, but I love to have a basic go to black dress that can work in case I'm out of options. I love how this dress, which also comes in two other colors, is fit on the top and then it flares out at the bottom giving it a fun and relaxed style.  I also love the eyelet pattern on it because it's a more casual look and great to pair with wedges, flats, or a bomber jacket, like I did here.
