Happy Wednesday!! Feliz Miercoles!! Happy hump day!  This week is flying by for me compared to last week when we were all sick and it felt an eternity before I noticed Ashton feeling better.  So glad we are passed that stage and back to our normal selves!  The Fourth of July is basically upon us and I wanted to do a post with the classic red, white and blue combination.  This country has given me so much but amongst all the things it has blessed me with, my son and my husband are the biggest ones.  With all the bad news and hate we are seeing these days in the world, I feel blessed to live in a country that allows us to have freedom to be who we want, to have our own voices, beliefs, thoughts and opinions.  I believe that is everyone's right and not a privilege, however, in other parts of the world many people are not as lucky as we are.  For that and my own personal blessin...

Happy Monday! Feliz Lunes!! Hi everyone!!  Hope you had a wonderful weekend!  Last week was a tough one around here, our little guy had a head cold that ended up turning into an ear infection......so he was pretty upset and with a lot of discomfort.  You add to that, the fact that my husband was out of town a couple days for work and it makes it really hard around here to do anything.  Ashton was just so upset, all he wanted was for me to hold him because that is the only time he ever found some comfort.  So I spent a lot of my time holding him or trying to put him down to sleep for naps.  It really broke my heart to see him sick with a fever, runny nose, ear ache....it was just heart wrenching.  It truly is horrible when your kids get sick.  It was his first time ever getting sick, so it would be safe to say, it made all three of us sick.  Fortunately, he is a little better now and we ca...

Hope everyone had a great weekend and spend quality time with the dads in your life!  We had a lot to celebrate this past weekend, like I mentioned on my post on Friday, Todd and I had our 5 year wedding anniversary on Friday and of course Father's Day on Sunday!  It was Todd's first Father's Day and it truly melts my heart to see him with Ashton.  There is nothing more heart warming and special to me, then to see my two boys play and love on each other.  The way Todd is with Ashton and the memories we are creating together are priceless to me.  Those are moments I cherish so deeply in my heart and are some of the most meaningful in my life.  I'm so lucky to have married a wonderful man and Ashton is SO blessed to have Todd as his father.  I'm so grateful to the man above for this little family of mine, nothing else matters to me but their love and happiness...

Happy Friday!! Feliz Viernes!! Hi everyone!  This week just flew by!  I can't believe it's Friday and here we are half way through June.  I hope everyone has exciting plans for this weekend.  Todd and I are celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary and it's Father's Day, so there will be a lot of love and family time this weekend.   I was out and about running errands the other day and this outfit was perfect for a casual outing and to meet a girlfriend for a drink afterwards.  I try to always have with me a lightweight jacket or cardigan because there are many establishments that have the air conditioning way up and it can be bitter cold at times.  I hate being cold, specially if I can avoid it, so I have learned to always grab a jacket to go when I know I will be in and out of places. Hope everyone had a great weekend!  I have been getting a lot of questions about what to wear that is cute but also nursing friendly.  As some of you know, Ashton is almost 10 months old and he actually didn't start solids until he was 8 months old...so I have and continue to nurse him because he is not a great solid food eater.  With this said, I normally don't nurse him in public anymore because he does eat with us when we are out at dinner or lunch.  However, this dress is great for nursing because it buttons and unbuttons fairly easy.  I found that button up shirts or dresses with straps or strapless are great for nursing and allow us to feel comfortable.  I love that this dress, not only for that purpose but because it's a staple in any girls closet.  Shirt dresses are so versatile, they never go out of style and they are so fresh during hot summer ...

Hi everyone!  Hope you had a wonderful weekend!!  Who doesn't love bright colors in the summer!!  I personally am a sucker fro bright and vibrant pieces!  They just scream summer, sun and happy to me!  I love this hot pink top, which you have previously seen me wear here , it's bright, flowy, feminine and the material is lightweight which makes it perfect for the summer.  I also love these hoop earrings, I have basically worn them every single day ever since I got them!! Love that they are hoops for one and two that they are gold, which is my favorite metal.  They are also under $40, which is a great deal for such cute earrings that can be paired with anything.
