This dress is probably one of the most beautiful lace dresses I own!  I love everything about it, the back is gorgeous and every time I wear it, I feel like a princess or a bride! Lol!  I got so many complements yesterday on this dress!  I do have to say, it is a little heavy and long because the material is thick, however that is the reason why the lace is so beautiful......it's perfectly made.  I wore this dress last year around this same exact time to my own baby shower and even then I got so many complements and my bump fit!!  The elastic around the waist part allows for the dress to adjust to your body which is always a plus in my book!  I paired it yesterday with a cropped jean jacket to add more of a day look to the dress. Feliz Sabado Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!  Just stopped by to say hello and share a great option for this weekend!  This dress is very lightweight, cute and breezy......it's your 'go to everyday' dress that never disappoints.  I bought this dress along with a military green color ( seen here ) about a month ago and I love both colors and how versatile the dress is.  What is also great about it ( for all those mommies that are breastfeeding ) is that it's very nursing friendly. I hate when I have to fight my dress to be able to feed my baby, specially if I'm in a public place, so I love the fact that this dress makes it so easy to transition to that point when needed. This top is my favorite right now!!  It truly was love at first sight when I saw it!  I had seen the lemon pattern around on several bloggers but I hadn't found a piece I truly liked and at a price I was willing to pay.....until I ran into this off the shoulder peplum beauty.  It is sooo cute in person and very lightweight and the peplum detail is very flattering, it adds a little more to the top.  I wore it on Sunday ( probably the hottest day we have had yet ) and it was perfect.  Plus it's under $20 which is a steal!!  I'm linking below a couple other styles from the same print that are also under $20. It's a new week and I'm soooo glad for that!  Last week was brutal!!!!  I started feeling like something was coming down on me Sunday night and once Monday rolled around I had head cold like symptoms ( fever, chills, headache ).  I though, if I took some over the counter medicine I would probably be ok in a couple days, well not so much.  Friday I woke up with something I would call 'a swollen lymph node' and that was very painful and scary at the same time.  By Saturday morning my ear, head and throat hurt and it goes with no saying that my lymph node was still very swollen.  After going to the doctor it turns out that I have a infected salivary gland.  I'm not sure if an of you have ever had one, but let me tell you it is the most painful and uncomfortable thing I have ever experienced.  I'm sure the fact that I allowed it to...

I wore this super lightweight lace blouse on Sunday to go to brunch.  I know it looks like I got pretty dressed up for brunch but I couldn't help myself!  Ever since I had Ashton, it has been a very rare occasion that I have been out late with girlfriends or mu husband.  For one reason or another it just doesn't happen often so I went ahead and dresses up like I was going to have Happy Hour at 11am!! Anyway, I love the lace detail and the round turtleneck aspect of it, I feel it gives it a more elegant look to a linen top.  I also like the fact that you can dress it up or down, while I was in Dallas about a month ago, I wore this top with white jeans to go out to dinner and it looked cute and trendy.  The best part is that it comes from TARGET!  Lately Target has some really cute options at great ...

Chicago is one of my favorite cities specially in the summer time!  It's got great restaurants, shopping, running paths, the beach area, museums, sports.....honestly if it weren't so brutally cold in the winter time, I think we would have already moved there.  We spent half of the week there, we normally stay where all the shopping and restaurants are because we can walk everywhere we need to go.  I love getting up in the mornings and go for a run and then grab some breakfast before we hit Michigan Avenue for some retail shopping :)  My favorite breakfast place is Le Pain Quotidien, it's got a lot of organic and healthy options including Almond Milk.  Todd and I drink Almond milk and it's very hard for us to find places that offer this when ordering a latte so we love the fact that Le Pain Quotidien has this option in their menu.  Another favorite of ours is a French Vietnamiese...
