Good Morning!  I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  As my husband and I were driving around this weekend making time to meet my sister for dinner,  we stopped at this beautiful Conservatory filled with beautiful flowers.  I felt the contrast in colors with my bright heart top would be great for today's post.  This top reminds me of February because I always relate February with he month for love, however the month of August is special to me because many of my family members have birthday's this month. One person in particular was my father, who unfortunately even though he is no longer physically with me, he is always with me in my heart. To all of you who follow me and take the time to kindly ready my posts, I wish you a Happy Birthday if you have one this month!!  To everyone else, I wish you a great month of August!

Happy Monday!! Feliz Lunes!! A Romance with Lace

Happy Monday!! Feliz Lunes!! How was everyone's weekend??  We had a great family weekend and Valentine's Day.  I love spending time with my two loves, they just make my heart smile.  This post was inspired by Valentine's Day because I have always found lace to be a very feminine and romantic.  Personally, I'm very drawn to tops and dresses that have lace in them or are made from it, so when I spotted this top I loved it and the bonus part was it's also cropped!  However, I do have to say, I normally wear a small but in this case I ordered a medium so that it would fit me a little longer and not so cropped.  Since the temperatures have been pretty chilly around here, instead of a skirt I paired it with these bell bottom pants to stay warm.  In the end I loved the classy style the top gave the outfit! Hey guys!  Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  I'm all about a cute, basic, little black dress....because as we all know you can never go wrong with black.  I know that summer time is all about the white dress and the lighter hues, but I love to have a basic go to black dress that can work in case I'm out of options. I love how this dress, which also comes in two other colors, is fit on the top and then it flares out at the bottom giving it a fun and relaxed style.  I also love the eyelet pattern on it because it's a more casual look and great to pair with wedges, flats, or a bomber jacket, like I did here.
