I did a Q&A back when I was 21 weeks pregnant and now I'm 31 weeks and in my third trimester so things are starting to become more real with each passing day! Below are some of the questions I have been getting :: 1) Is Ashton aware or does he understand he will soon be a big brother? Ashton definitely knows or senses there are things changing, specially with mommy. I don't

Cozy Afternoons

A Pop of Red...... Happy Wednesday everyone! Hope you are all having a wonderful week!  I wore this cozy and comfy outfit over the weekend to run errands with my little family and go to dinner....it was perfect for the cold and dreary day. One of my favorite things to do during this time of the year is wear my red lipstick! I don't know if it's because I'm in the holiday spirit and red always makes me think of Christmas....or because I don't wear it enough during the year that I use the holiday's as an excuse. Whatever it is, I tend to gravitate toward it more around fall. I like to give a neutral or simple outfit a pop of color to highlight certain aspects of the outfit.  In this case, I think the pop of red highlights the earthy tones on the scarf.  Likewise, this scarf is so versatile....its a scarf, poncho and wrap all in one!  I love pieces that can be used in multiple ways. Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today!  Ho

Statement Pieces

When all else fails......you have statement earrings Hi everyone!  Hope everyone had a wonderful month of October and a great start to your November!  As you may have read on my last post and seen through my Instagram, we were in Colorado last week on our little family vacation.  I plan on doing a blog post sharing some of our family pictures and all my recommendations on places to eat, visit and a couple things to do. Over the weekend Todd and I got a chance to have a day date and it was so nice to be able to get away from our little guy for a little bit and belly up to a bar, have some pizza and just talk.  It's so good to be able to spend one on one time with your loved one and remember why you fell in love. Since I'm officially six and a half months pregnant I'm definitely taking advantage of those maternity jeans.  Let's face it, when you are pregnant and the baby starts growing it gets harder and harder to find things to wear, t

Fall Style

It's starting to feel a lot like fall..... Happy Monday loves!!  I'm currently in Vail, Colorado with my little family having our last family vacation before the baby arrives! Todd and I wanted to do something just the three of us to get some quality time together before we had to head out of town for the holidays to visit family and then have my mom come over for six months to help with the babies.  It's beautiful out here, the views are breathtaking and the towns are so charming.   I took these pictures a couple weeks ago when the weather was crisp and it felt like fall.  There is something about blanket scarfs that I absolutely love for days when there is a little chill in the air and I don't necessarily need a a heavy coat.  This is one of my favorite scarfs for fall because of how versatile it is (I wore it several different ways that day as you can see in the pictures), the fringe detail and it's super soft. I have paire

Maternity Dress Happy Monday friends!  Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  Life is starting to get pretty busy around here, with the Holiday's coming, baby due in 3 and a half months, two upcoming family vacations scheduled, and preparing for my mom to come stay with us for 6 months! OMG!  It will definitely be a transition for all of us, as I have never had my mom visit for such a long period of time.  I am grateful that she is able to be here and the help that she will give me is priceless.  I'm truly blessed to count with her during this time. As the baby has started to grow, so has my bump.  I have to find comfortable and affordable clothes that will get me through the remainder of my pregnancy without having to break the bank.  I'm pretty sure this is our last baby(never say never), so I don't really want to spend too much on clothes that I most likely will never wear again.  It's almost like buying trendy stuff

Pregnancy Q&A

Outfit :: Vest :: White House Black Market ( old, love  this  one ) Sweater ::  Splendid Jeans :: Addie Rose Boutique Booties :: Cynthia Vincent ( old, similar style  here  ) Handbag :: Louis Vuitton Accessories ::  Stella & Dot  earrings,  David Yurman  necklace and  'Spanish Pink'  lipstick by Tom Ford Since announcing I was pregnant a couple months ago, I frequently get asked a number of questions regarding my pregnancy.  Therefore, I decided to do a Q&A to answer most of those questions and I have narrowed them down to 10, so here they go : 1) How is this pregnancy different than your first? Or are they pretty similar? I'm now 21 weeks pregnant and I have to say that the first trimester of this pregnancy was very different than with Ashton.  I never felt nauseous or got sick with Ashton, but with this baby I was nauseous every day for the first several weeks of my pregnancy and never had an appetite.  I ended up

Happy Thursday guys!  Who is ready for the weekend??  I know, this chic is! I'm looking forward to spending the weekend with my family. I have been craving cold weather and the past couple days have been a nice change of climate around here.  I got a chance to wear this super cute cropped jacket over the weekend and what drew me toward it was the color.  Right now I'm loving burgundy, olive, blush, gray and of course black.  The pop of red on the jacket is the perfect detail to complete the look. Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today!  Have a great weekend!!
