Since announcing I was pregnant a couple months ago, I frequently get asked a number of questions regarding my pregnancy.  Therefore, I decided to do a Q&A to answer most of those questions and I have narrowed them down to 10, so here they go :
1) How is this pregnancy different than your first? Or are they pretty similar? I'm now 21 weeks pregnant and I have to say that the first trimester of this pregnancy was very different than with Ashton.  I never felt nauseous or got sick with Ashton, but with this baby I was nauseous every day for the first several weeks of my pregnancy and never had an appetite.  I ended up throwing up several times, which was no fun.
2) What would …

Olive with a Pop of Red

Happy Thursday guys!  Who is ready for the weekend??  I know, this chic is! I'm looking forward to spending the weekend with my family. I have been craving cold weather and the past couple days have been a nice change of climate around here.  I got a chance to wear this super cute cropped jacket over the weekend and what drew me toward it was the color.  Right now I'm loving burgundy, olive, blush, gray and of course black.  The pop of red on the jacket is the perfect detail to complete the look.
Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today!  Have a great weekend!!

A Classic Black & White

Happy Thursday!!

Hey guys!  Hope everyone is having a great week! I wanted to share with you this super cute and comfy top.  How adorable are these bell sleeves?? It's seriously the softest top I own and I love that it fits my baby bump.  It's a non maternity top, however even though is does stretch I sized up because I did want it to last me through out the fall and winter and I also wanted the sleeves to be long enough and not 3/4 quarter length. I ordered a medium and the fit was perfect! It's a little long but you could tuck it in or just leave it out and wear it with leggings. It completely sold out the first time around so I would not think twice about it and make sure you grab one for yourself before it sells out again!!

Baby Blues :: 18 Week Update

Velvet Trend......

Happy Tuesday guys!  I have been wanting to share these booties with you for a week now and I'm finally getting around to doing this blog post.  Velvet, as we all have probably seen by now, is one of the biggest trends this fall and when I spotted these I didn't even think twice about it and snatched them!  I have to give it to Target once again, they really do know how to bring on the trends at very affordable prices! The best part is that they are under $40!!  Can you believe it?? One thing I can't believe is how fast this pregnancy is going!!!!
I'm now 18 weeks along, almost half way there and it really has felt like time has flown by.  I had always heard that with your second pregnancy you are so busy chasing after your first one, that you don't realize how fast it all goes by.  I have to say, I'm so glad I'm feeling better and with so much more energy, which was not the case my first trimester.  I was sick, nausea's and pretty m…

Pre Fall :: Crisscross Style

Happy Tuesday guys!  I'm finally getting around to writing a new blog post and sharing an update on my pregnancy and how we found out we were pregnant.  It's so interesting to me how different this second pregnancy has been, compared to my first pregnancy.  With Ashton, I never got sick, felt nauseous, was as tired as I have been this second time around, have any cravings, or felt disgusted by anything.  However, this pregnancy has been the total opposite, which caught me completely off guard. So far, I have been grossed out by salmon, coffee (occasionally, now that I'm in my second trimester it's been so much better), and even flat bread. On the positive side, I have been obsessed with tomatoes, apples, mangos, and during the first couple weeks when I was nauseous all day, all I wanted was carbs.
We had been trying for four months before we found out we were pregnant, unlike, with Ashton when we got pregnant on our first try. I was so upset when the fourth month cam…

Deep Cobalt Blue :: Styled Two Ways

Looking Ahead....

Hey guys, hope everyone is having a good day!  Who is ready for fall??  I have to admit, fall is my favorite season and with the heat waves we have been having, I can't wait for September to be here.  I bought this dress a couple weeks ago and if you follow me regularly you probably saw my post with this same exact dress but in a mango color.....if you missed it, you can see it here.  I loved the style so much I bought it in both colors. This deep cobalt blue is a great color for fall and, however, I felt like I could wear it now layered with a leather jacket or a fur vest as you see in the pictures.  I wanted to showcase how versatile this dress can be and at the price (under $40 once you take the extra 30% off) it really is a steal.
Let me know what you think about this style and your favorite season of the year??
