Fall Style

It's starting to feel a lot like fall..... Happy Monday loves!!  I'm currently in Vail, Colorado with my little family having our last family vacation before the baby arrives! Todd and I wanted to do something just the three of us to get some quality time together before we had to head out of town for the holidays to visit family and then have my mom come over for six months to help with the babies.  It's beautiful out here, the views are breathtaking and the towns are so charming.   I took these pictures a couple weeks ago when the weather was crisp and it felt like fall.  There is something about blanket scarfs that I absolutely love for days when there is a little chill in the air and I don't necessarily need a a heavy coat.  This is one of my favorite scarfs for fall because of how versatile it is (I wore it several different ways that day as you can see in the pictures), the fringe detail and it's super soft. I have p...

Maternity Dress Happy Monday friends!  Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  Life is starting to get pretty busy around here, with the Holiday's coming, baby due in 3 and a half months, two upcoming family vacations scheduled, and preparing for my mom to come stay with us for 6 months! OMG!  It will definitely be a transition for all of us, as I have never had my mom visit for such a long period of time.  I am grateful that she is able to be here and the help that she will give me is priceless.  I'm truly blessed to count with her during this time. As the baby has started to grow, so has my bump.  I have to find comfortable and affordable clothes that will get me through the remainder of my pregnancy without having to break the bank.  I'm pretty sure this is our last baby(never say never), so I don't really want to spend too much on clothes that I most likely will never wear again.  It's almost like ...

Pregnancy Q&A

Outfit :: Vest :: White House Black Market ( old, love  this  one ) Sweater ::  Splendid Jeans :: Addie Rose Boutique Booties :: Cynthia Vincent ( old, similar style  here  ) Handbag :: Louis Vuitton Accessories ::  Stella & Dot  earrings,  David Yurman  necklace and  'Spanish Pink'  lipstick by Tom Ford Since announcing I was pregnant a couple months ago, I frequently get asked a number of questions regarding my pregnancy.  Therefore, I decided to do a Q&A to answer most of those questions and I have narrowed them down to 10, so here they go : 1) How is this pregnancy different than your first? Or are they pretty similar? I'm now 21 weeks pregnant and I have to say that the first trimester of this pregnancy was very different than with Ashton.  I never felt nauseous or got sick with Ashton, but with this baby I was nauseous every day for the first several weeks of ...

Happy Thursday guys!  Who is ready for the weekend??  I know, this chic is! I'm looking forward to spending the weekend with my family. I have been craving cold weather and the past couple days have been a nice change of climate around here.  I got a chance to wear this super cute cropped jacket over the weekend and what drew me toward it was the color.  Right now I'm loving burgundy, olive, blush, gray and of course black.  The pop of red on the jacket is the perfect detail to complete the look. Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today!  Have a great weekend!! Outfit :: Jacket ::  Target Top ::  Stella & Dot Jeans :: Zara ( old, liking  these  and such a great price ) Heels :: Gucci  Handbag :: Louis Vuitton Accessories :: Tom Ford  sunglasses,  Stella & Dot  earrings,  'Brick Red'  cream lip liner by Maybeline and  'Fiery'  lipstic...

A Classic Black & White

Happy Thursday!! Hey guys!  Hope everyone is having a great week! I wanted to share with you this super cute and comfy top.  How adorable are these bell sleeves?? It's seriously the softest top I own and I love that it fits my baby bump.  It's a non maternity top, however even though is does stretch I sized up because I did want it to last me through out the fall and winter and I also wanted the sleeves to be long enough and not 3/4 quarter length. I ordered a medium and the fit was perfect! It's a little long but you could tuck it in or just leave it out and wear it with leggings. It completely sold out the first time around so I would not think twice about it and make sure you grab one for yourself before it sells out again!! Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today and taking the time to read this post!  Have a great weekend! Top :: Stella & Dot Jeans :: Add...

Baby Blues :: 18 Week Update

Velvet Trend...... Happy Tuesday guys!  I have been wanting to share these booties with you for a week now and I'm finally getting around to doing this blog post.  Velvet, as we all have probably seen by now, is one of the biggest trends this fall and when I spotted these I didn't even think twice about it and snatched them!  I have to give it to Target once again, they really do know how to bring on the trends at very affordable prices! The best part is that they are under $40!!  Can you believe it?? One thing I can't believe is how fast this pregnancy is going!!!! I'm now 18 weeks along, almost half way there and it really has felt like time has flown by.  I had always heard that with your second pregnancy you are so busy chasing after your first one, that you don't realize how fast it all goes by.  I have to say, I'm so glad I'm feeling better and with so much more energy, which was not the case my first trimester....

Pre Fall :: Crisscross Style

Happy Tuesday guys!  I'm finally getting around to writing a new blog post and sharing an update on my pregnancy and how we found out we were pregnant.  It's so interesting to me how different this second pregnancy has been, compared to my first pregnancy.  With Ashton, I never got sick, felt nauseous, was as tired as I have been this second time around, have any cravings, or felt disgusted by anything.  However, this pregnancy has been the total opposite, which caught me completely off guard. So far, I have been grossed out by salmon, coffee (occasionally, now that I'm in my second trimester it's been so much better), and even flat bread. On the positive side, I have been obsessed with tomatoes, apples, mangos, and during the first couple weeks when I was nauseous all day, all I wanted was carbs.  We had been trying for four months before we found out we were pregnant, unlike, with Ashton when we got pregnant on our...
