Hey guys!  Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  Fall is finally here and I'm so excited!!  Sweater season is my favorite, chunky cardigans, cute booties, blanket scarfs, cuddles with my babies on the couch, hot chocolate, pumpkin bread and it just means we are closer to Christmas which is my favorite holiday!  I can't believe I'm even mentioning Christmas, this year is just flying by and I need time to slow down for a little bit.

This weekend we met some friends for dinner and took Ashton
to play at this little park and it was so cute to watch him run around and just be a toddler.  We love outdoor activities so this winter I hope it's not too cold where I have to be cooped up inside.  I wore this outfit to dinner and this knit sweater was perfect for the evening because there was a breeze and I was very comfortable with just this on.  Plus I'm loving this color, I have had a couple post with tops in this hue, you can see them here and here

Happy Monday!! Feliz Lunes!! A Romance with Lace

Happy Monday!! Feliz Lunes!! How was everyone's weekend??  We had a great family weekend and Valentine's Day.  I love spending time with my two loves, they just make my heart smile.  This post was inspired by Valentine's Day because I have always found lace to be a very feminine and romantic.  Personally, I'm very drawn to tops and dresses that have lace in them or are made from it, so when I spotted this top I loved it and the bonus part was it's also cropped!  However, I do have to say, I normally wear a small but in this case I ordered a medium so that it would fit me a little longer and not so cropped.  Since the temperatures have been pretty chilly around here, instead of a skirt I paired it with these bell bottom pants to stay warm.  In the end I loved the classy style the top gave the outfit! Hey guys!  Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  I'm all about a cute, basic, little black dress....because as we all know you can never go wrong with black.  I know that summer time is all about the white dress and the lighter hues, but I love to have a basic go to black dress that can work in case I'm out of options. I love how this dress, which also comes in two other colors, is fit on the top and then it flares out at the bottom giving it a fun and relaxed style.  I also love the eyelet pattern on it because it's a more casual look and great to pair with wedges, flats, or a bomber jacket, like I did here.
