Hope everyone is having a great week!!  This week has been a little bit crazy around here.  I strained a muscle on my back so it has been a challenge getting around.  I've been off my feet for most of the time and I'm just now trying to get around to doing my daily routine.  Last week I had the chance to hang out with a girlfriend and her two lovely daughters and I thought of a casual look and this poncho was perfect.  It's actually pretty thin and very comfortable.  I added a pop of color by pairing it with leopard flats and a gray fedora.  Gave the outfit just the edge it needed.

Happy Monday!! Feliz Lunes!! A Romance with Lace

Happy Monday!! Feliz Lunes!! How was everyone's weekend??  We had a great family weekend and Valentine's Day.  I love spending time with my two loves, they just make my heart smile.  This post was inspired by Valentine's Day because I have always found lace to be a very feminine and romantic.  Personally, I'm very drawn to tops and dresses that have lace in them or are made from it, so when I spotted this top I loved it and the bonus part was it's also cropped!  However, I do have to say, I normally wear a small but in this case I ordered a medium so that it would fit me a little longer and not so cropped.  Since the temperatures have been pretty chilly around here, instead of a skirt I paired it with these bell bottom pants to stay warm.  In the end I loved the classy style the top gave the outfit! Hey guys!  Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  I'm all about a cute, basic, little black dress....because as we all know you can never go wrong with black.  I know that summer time is all about the white dress and the lighter hues, but I love to have a basic go to black dress that can work in case I'm out of options. I love how this dress, which also comes in two other colors, is fit on the top and then it flares out at the bottom giving it a fun and relaxed style.  I also love the eyelet pattern on it because it's a more casual look and great to pair with wedges, flats, or a bomber jacket, like I did here.
