Hi everyone!  Hope you all had a great Labor Day weekend!  It has been pretty quiet around here, it has just been crazy around here these last couple days.  I was out of town over the weekend and then once I got home I just had a lot of catching up to do in terms of home chores and life!  A normal day becomes much more challenging with a mobile child......because they get into EVERYTHING!!  
While in Chicago I meant to take a couple pictures, however we were literally there for less than 72 hours so we were pretty much non stop and hardly had time to stop and snap a couple pictures.  However, I bought this top while out there at one of my favorite stores, Zara.  I mean, who doesn't love Zara??  They have the cutest styles at very affordable prices and they are a really good quality.  I make it a point to stop by Zara every time I'm in Chicago or anywhere there is a Zara store.  The top is a very loose fit style with bell sleeves but the color is what attracted me the most. It's a mustard yellow great for fall and it pairs with almost every color I can think off.  This is definitely a number I will be wearing a lot this season.

A Romance with Lace

Happy Monday!! Feliz Lunes!! How was everyone's weekend??  We had a great family weekend and Valentine's Day.  I love spending time with my two loves, they just make my heart smile.  This post was inspired by Valentine's Day because I have always found lace to be a very feminine and romantic.  Personally, I'm very drawn to tops and dresses that have lace in them or are made from it, so when I spotted this top I loved it and the bonus part was it's also cropped!  However, I do have to say, I normally wear a small but in this case I ordered a medium so that it would fit me a little longer and not so cropped.  Since the temperatures have been pretty chilly around here, instead of a skirt I paired it with these bell bottom pants to stay warm.  In the end I loved the classy style the top gave the outfit! Hey guys!  Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  I'm all about a cute, basic, little black dress....because as we all know you can never go wrong with black.  I know that summer time is all about the white dress and the lighter hues, but I love to have a basic go to black dress that can work in case I'm out of options. I love how this dress, which also comes in two other colors, is fit on the top and then it flares out at the bottom giving it a fun and relaxed style.  I also love the eyelet pattern on it because it's a more casual look and great to pair with wedges, flats, or a bomber jacket, like I did here.
