Happy Friday! Feliz Viernes!   Hi everyone!  Just a quick hello to end the week, hope you have fun plans for the weekend!  I found these shoes and I immediately feel in love with them!  What is even better, they are from Target!  I can never go to Target anymore and just buy one thing... I end up with a cart full of stuff.  Needless to say, Target is very dangerous for me, but they have some very cute and basic pieces for your wardrobe without having to spend a lot to look stylish this winter. When putting this outfit together I didn't want it to be monochromatic so I added a pop of color by combining it with this blue sweater and some bright pink lipstick. Hi everyone, hope you had a great weekend!!  Just a quick hello, this past weekend I had a lunch date with my husband and wore this flowy tunic dress.  I love that it can be worn casually with flats or you can spruce it up for a cocktail party or happy hour with some heels. Happy Week! Hope everyone is having a good week.  I have been trying to get organized and take advantage of any time I have these days, between house chores, taking care of a two month old, trying to be a wife and keeping up with my own personal needs .....there isn't much left of time or energy.  Therefore, keeping up my my blog has been a little challenging, however, I try because this is a great outlet for me and it allows me to voice my feelings and share my story with those reading on the other side.  Thank you to all of you who take the time to read and visit this blog, it really means a lot to me. This weekend I had the chance to get a little dressed up and take advantage of the weather. Picked up this fun and sassy fringe skirt at one of my favorite local boutiques called Addie Rose. Good Morning! Buenos Dias! Hi everyone!  Hope you are having a great week!  It has been two months since I had my little bundle of joy and it has really been truly a life changing experience.  I have enjoyed watching him grow and become this little person that smiles, coos, loves taking baths and fills my heart with endless joy.  However, it has also left me with very little sleep, lots of days spent in sweats and pajamas and endless hours of me staring at him as he sleeps just to make sure he is breathing ( but also, just me wanting to stare at him because I find him precious). I'm trying to get back to my normal routine, or at least, to what used to be my normal routine and this past weekend I was able to get dressed up a little and enjoy the beautiful weather we are still having in Kansas City for this time of the year.  I'm also just now starting to get my body back and am able to fit in my clothes more comfortably and feel good about s...

Hope everyone had a great weekend celebrating Father's Day with all the wonderful dads and husbands that make our lives so special every day.   I lost my father to brain cancer 11 years ago, so Father's Day is a little bitter sweet and emotional for me every year because it reminds me of the greatest loss I ever experienced.  However, it also takes me down memory lane of all the wonderful memories I have with a man that not only meant the world to me but that was so compassionate, loving, caring and genuinely wanted the best for those surrounding him.  I could go on and on about my father's qualities and how great I thought he was, however, I just want to say that I have been blessed to have had him in my life for 20 years and I feel very honored to be his daughter.  I feel very grateful to have had a father that showed me the meaning of love, compassion, respect and righteousness while he was here with me and ev...

Happy Wednesday! My baby bump is growing every day ( at least I feel that way ) and with that said, it gets harder to fit in my clothes and find anything in my closet these days.  Therefore, this weekend I was excited to find these soft shirts from Michael Kors that allow for room to grow.  Even though they are not maternity, they stretch because of the fabric and the soft material.
