Happy Week!






Hope everyone is having a good week.  I have been trying to get organized and take advantage of any time I have these days, between house chores, taking care of a two month old, trying to be a wife and keeping up with my own personal needs .....there isn't much left of time or energy.  Therefore, keeping up my my blog has been a little challenging, however, I try because this is a great outlet for me and it allows me to voice my feelings and share my story with those reading on the other side.  Thank you to all of you who take the time to read and visit this blog, it really means a lot to me.

This weekend I had the chance to get a little dressed up and take advantage of the weather. Picked up this fun and sassy fringe skirt at one of my favorite local boutiques called Addie Rose. I'm finally feeling comfortable in my own body and I lucked out with this skirt.  I had been looking for one for a while and I had a hard time finding one that caught my eye, this one was love at first sight.  Everything about it was perfect, right on time for this holiday season that is right around the corner.

Happy Monday!! Feliz Lunes!! A Romance with Lace

Happy Monday!! Feliz Lunes!! How was everyone's weekend??  We had a great family weekend and Valentine's Day.  I love spending time with my two loves, they just make my heart smile.  This post was inspired by Valentine's Day because I have always found lace to be a very feminine and romantic.  Personally, I'm very drawn to tops and dresses that have lace in them or are made from it, so when I spotted this top I loved it and the bonus part was it's also cropped!  However, I do have to say, I normally wear a small but in this case I ordered a medium so that it would fit me a little longer and not so cropped.  Since the temperatures have been pretty chilly around here, instead of a skirt I paired it with these bell bottom pants to stay warm.  In the end I loved the classy style the top gave the outfit! Happy Monday! Feliz Lunes!! Hey guys!  Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  I'm all about a cute, basic, little black dress....because as we all know you can never go wrong with black.  I know that summer time is all about the white dress and the lighter hues, but I love to have a basic go to black dress that can work in case I'm out of options. I love how this dress, which also comes in two other colors, is fit on the top and then it flares out at the bottom giving it a fun and relaxed style.  I also love the eyelet pattern on it because it's a more casual look and great to pair with wedges, flats, or a bomber jacket, like I did here.
