I hope everyone is having a great week!!  As I have established in my previous post, it has been a very cold winter.  Over Thanksgiving my husband and I were in Chicago and I happened to spot this scarf in one of my favorite stores....Zara.  It has been my "to go" piece. It's extremely soft and very long, which I love because it allows me to wrap myself around it. This time around I paired it with a wool dress that my mom bought for me in Peru and it was the perfect outfit for my day.


In the past I have also paired it with jeans to give it a more casual look.

Happy Monday!! Feliz Lunes!! A Romance with Lace

Happy Monday!! Feliz Lunes!! How was everyone's weekend??  We had a great family weekend and Valentine's Day.  I love spending time with my two loves, they just make my heart smile.  This post was inspired by Valentine's Day because I have always found lace to be a very feminine and romantic.  Personally, I'm very drawn to tops and dresses that have lace in them or are made from it, so when I spotted this top I loved it and the bonus part was it's also cropped!  However, I do have to say, I normally wear a small but in this case I ordered a medium so that it would fit me a little longer and not so cropped.  Since the temperatures have been pretty chilly around here, instead of a skirt I paired it with these bell bottom pants to stay warm.  In the end I loved the classy style the top gave the outfit! A Summer Basic :: Plus 5 Bomber Jackets I'm Currently Loving

Hey guys!  Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  I'm all about a cute, basic, little black dress....because as we all know you can never go wrong with black.  I know that summer time is all about the white dress and the lighter hues, but I love to have a basic go to black dress that can work in case I'm out of options. I love how this dress, which also comes in two other colors, is fit on the top and then it flares out at the bottom giving it a fun and relaxed style.  I also love the eyelet pattern on it because it's a more casual look and great to pair with wedges, flats, or a bomber jacket, like I did here.
